Kharn received his training from a variety of institutions. He received his Professional Wrestling training from Rip Rogers at Ohio Valley Wrestling. He also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Ball State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. He has served as an Theatre Acting and Movement instructor, as well. Kharn has also received theatrical combat training from Dueling Arts International and the Society of American Fight Directors. He has worked in a variety of productions on stage and on film.
