Open Call Tryout for the Ronin Stunt Company Junior Trainee Program
Ronin Stunt Company is hosting our Open-Call tryouts for our Junior Trainee Program at our Stunt Facility in Lenexa!
Does your child have what it takes to be a Stunt Kid? Ronin Stunt Company invites you and your child to come learn about our premier Junior Trainee Program. The purpose of this tryout is to assess their current skill level and learning capabilities. We’ll be guiding participants through basic stunt routines and giving you the opportunity to see if we are a good fit for you. This is a great chance to get some hands-on experience and determine if stunt performance is something your child would like to pursue further.
Our trainee program guides members on the path to joining Ronin Stunt Company as a trained stunt professional. Trainees get direct instruction from professional stunt actors working in the industry. Trainees in our program learn fight choreography, basic falls and wrecks, high falls, wires, tactical movement, and so much more.
We're proud to offer this one-of-a-kind program that can't be found in Kansas or Missouri. As the Midwest's film industry continues to grow, we seek to help further it's growth by continuing to develop the stunt industry in the area!
This event is open to children ages 13-17! We will have a secondary tryout date on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 6-8pm, if you are unable to attend this one (only one is necessary). We’re looking forward to seeing you!

Ronin Stunt Company Grand Opening and Open House
Ronin is excited to announce that we are opening the first dedicated stunt training facility in the area! On August 24th, we will be debuting our new training space at 10565 Widmer Rd in Lenexa, KS. We’re launching this space in an effort to help energize the local film industry and provide a service to aspiring actors and stunt performers that is hard to find anywhere, let alone Kansas or Missouri. In this space, we will be hosting classes and workshops to teach actors and aspiring stunt performers action and stunts.
We would like to formally invite you to our Open House on August 24th, 2024, from 1pm-5pm. We will be giving tours of our training space and detailed explanations of the services we will provide to the local film industry.

Swords For Film Workshop - June 2024
Greetings Midwest Actors and Filmmakers!!
At Ronin Stunt Company, we've always wanted to do our part to support the film industry here in the Midwest, so we've partnered with Elite Acting Studio to bring a Swords for Film Workshop to Branson, MO! On Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 10am - 7pm (lunch break from 1-2pm), we will be hosting a beginner's Swords for Film Workshop for actors and filmmakers at the Elite Acting Studio.
Participants will be taught the basics of swordplay for film, including footwork, slashes/stabs for camera, camera angles for action, basic falls, and more! Participants will be given a pre-made fight scene to practice with and under the supervision of Ronin Stunt Co. members!

Swords For Film Workshop - March 2024

At Ronin Stunt Company we've always wanted to do our part to support the film industry here in Kansas City, so we're pleased to announce our first Swords for Film Workshop! On Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 1pm-7pm, we will be hosting a beginner's Swords for Film Workshop for actors and filmmakers at our training facility.
Participants will be taught the basics of swordplay for film, including footwork, slashes/stabs for camera, camera angles for action, basic falls, and more! Participants will be given a pre-made fight scene to practice with and under the supervision of Ronin Stunt Co. members!

Action for Film Workshop - June 2023
At Ronin Stunt Company, we want to do our part to support the film industry here in Kansas City. Our first Action Workshop: Fighting for Film and Fight Choreography was a great success! We hosted a beginner's Action Workshop for actors and filmmakers at our training facility.
Participants were taught the basics of fighting for film, including footwork, strikes for camera, camera angles for action, basic falls, and more! Participants were given a pre-made fight scene to practice with and under the supervision of Ronin Stunt Co. members!
Due to space, this workshop was limited to 20 participants, but we have plans for more in the future! See images from this event below:
